As we head into winter and the end of 2018, we wanted to reflect on all of the fun and exciting events from this season and our first year in business! Fashion Opportunities
Couture in the Courtyard
Oxford Eyes had the pleasure of hosting our first fashion show, alongside other women-owned small businesses in Ivanhoe Village and the Orlando community such as The Lovely Project, Jarboe, Almut Belote Jewelry, and Paper Goat Post! We were the official eyewear provider for the fashion show, and it was a wonderful time to showcase one of our newest couture eyewear brands, Marni, on the stunning models! The best part of Couture in the Courtyard was that all proceeds benefitted The Lovely Project Foundation, a local nonprofit organization that empowers young girls. We look forward to more opportunities like this in 2019.
Meeting the Fashionistas
A major highlight of our first year in business was definitely meeting all of our new customers, and we were elated to have met fashion experts and influencers Melanie Pace, Vanessa Boy, Katie Logen, and Leah Lou! From helping them complement their signature styles, to even styling their loved ones, we were honored to have these fashion gurus in the shop.

Trunk Shows
Marni Trunk Show
Oxford Eyes held a two-day Marni Trunk Show in October, and it was a blast, we even rolled out the red carpet in the shop! The Marni representative and eyewear expert, Channing, was there to showcase the gorgeous Marni collection and offer our customers a very specialized styling experience. There were also discounts, sales, bubbly, hors d’oeuvres and more!
2018 Trunk Shows
Throughout 2018, Oxford Eyes also hosted trunk shows for other iconic brands like Tom Ford, Studio Optix, LaFont Paris, Kame ManNen, Iyoko Inyaké, Elie Tahri, ill.i Optics, Vince Camuto, among others. We most recently held our Holiday Trunk Show, where customers were able to purchase discounted eyewear before the holiday season and use their Healthcare Reimbursement Dollars before the end of 2018!
These trunk shows are a great time to meet our eyewear specialists, and try on limited collections from some of the most reputable eyewear brands. We love meeting customers at our trunk shows, and hope you’re able to make one in 2019!
